Fruit & Vegetable Boxes. 2 Sources.....
- From our Councillor Sir Nicholas White:
Jo Sweeting of the Plough Inn, Dormansland is setting up The Plough Community Farm Shop in conjunction with a number of people from the village with effect from this coming week. In the immediate short term they will be making up bags/boxes of Fruit and Vegetables at £6 and £10 persons which will be sold at very competitive prices. THIS IS PRIMARILY FOR THOSE VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF THE VILLAGE, but will be available for others once the vulnerable members are catered for. Telephone 0orders can be made to the plough on 07487 520242 between 5 and 9 pm. Eggs, cheese and other items will also be available. Collection from 5-9pm.
It is proposed that there will be a two mile free delivery service from the Plough using local volunteers but people will be able to order either by telephone or email for collection the next day. The Plough is setting up a very strict collection procedure so that their staff do not come within 3 meters of the customer.
